SUM Youth

SUM Youth are growing in the love of Christ. Students in 7th-12th grades get to know Jesus, share his love, and grow together while developing lifelong friendships. Join us most Sundays at 6pm.

Here is just a little of what SUM youth are doing at SUMC:

SUM Youth Worship: The Youth Group (7th-12th Grades) meets Sundays at 6 p.m. (unless otherwise indicated) in the Youth Room of Springfield UMC. Dinner always precedes the group discussions and fun. Come anytime!

SUM Youth Learn: Students continue to be transformed by Christ's love when they attend Brother Washington's Youth Sunday School class at 9:15 AM. Class meets in the Youth Room.

SUM Youth Serve: Whether for their church family, community, or in mission for children in other countries, SUM youth are thinking of others and reaching out in Christian love. Each year students participate in mission trip opportunities that provide valuable life lessons that guide youth along their spiritual journey.

SUM Youth Have Fun: Pool parties, movies, team-building activities, chattin' on Facebook, or just "hangin' out." SUM youth just like to chill.
